DAY 1 Depart the USA-Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Munich, Germany.

DAY 2 Munich, Germany-Upon arrival in Munich, you'll be met by a local representative and transferred to the hotel. The remainder of the day and evening are at leisure to begin exploring on your own. The hotel is within walking distance of the Oktoberfest fair grounds.

DAY 3 City Tour of Munich-After breakfast, an included panoramic tour showcases the former Olympic site, Nymphenburg Palace, Maximilian strasse and the Parliament, the National Theater and Munich's Residenz. During a walking tour, stroll the Marienplatz Square and see the famous Glockenspiel. After the tour, the remainder of your time in Munich is at leisure.  Meal: B

DAY 4 Munich to Mainz, Germany-After breakfast, depart by coach and travel to Mainz. Upon arrival, the MS Emerald Star, will be awaiting your embarkation. Following check-in procedures, become acquainted with the vessel and enjoy dinner onboard.  Meals: B, D

DAY 5 Rudesheim, Germany-One of Germany's most delightful towns, Rudesheim is sure to please! On the included excursion, visit Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum which houses an impressive collection of music boxes and automated musical instruments. After the tour, discover the charms of this quaint town on your own. Stroll through the lanes lined with shops and walk along the lively Drosselgasse. Filled with music and song, it's the perfect opportunity to sample the best of genuine Rhine hospitality! Departing in the early afternoon, cruise through the "Splendor of the Rhine€" a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the legendary Lorelei Rock.   Meals: B, L, D

DAY 6 Koblenz-The day begins with an included tour of this historic city at the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel Rivers. Visit the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, part of the Prussian defenses against the French in the 19th century and later used as American military headquarters during WWII. This afternoon, an optional motorcoach excursion to the picturesque town of Cochem is offered.  Meals: B, L, D

DAY 7 Mannheim / Heidelberg-Arriving in the town of Mannheim, at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers, depart by coach for an included excursion to Heidelberg. Known as Germany's oldest university town, Heidelberg is also famous for the ruins of its red-walled 16th-century castle. Visit this medieval town and the impressive castle, perched atop a hill overlooking the river. Re-board the ship early this afternoon and relax onboard as you enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening sailing along the river.   Meals: B, L, D

DAY 8 Rastatt / Baden Baden-Arriving in the port town of Rastatt, disembark for the included excursion to Baden Baden. Travel by coach to this hidden jewel, nestled in a beautiful landscape along the border of the Black Forest. A guided walking tour through the town is followed by free time to stroll through the historic Kurhaus Colonnade and shop in the elegant boutiques of the old town before returning to the ship in Rastatt.  Meals: B, L, D

DAY 9 Kehl / Strasbourg, France-Between France and Germany lies lovely Strasbourg, one of Europe's most attractive cities. Docking in Kehl, travel by coach to Strasbourg, on the opposite side of the river. An included tour by canal boat passes many attractions of this Alsatian capital. See the famous ˜La Petite France" and tanners' quarter, the Covered Bridges, Vauban Dam and the Newstadt Imperial Quarter.  Meals: B, L, D

DAY 10 Breisach, Germany / Colmar, France-Depart from the town of Breisach and journey by coach to the magical town of Colmar, France. Renowned for its well-preserved old town, numerous architectural landmarks and museums, the guided excursion takes you past the Unterlinden Museum, the Maison des Tetes Hotel, St. Martin's Church and the little Venice quarter of this charming town filled with half-timbered houses, a flower decked town center, cozy streets and charming shops.  Meals: B, L, D

DAY 11 Basel - Zurich, Switzerland / USA-Disembark the ship in Basel and transfer to the Zurich Airport. Bid €˜auf wiedersehen to Europe and return home with memories of life enriching experiences from your cruise along the Rhine River. Meal: B
