Day 1: Oct 1, 2020 - Departure from the USA on your overnight flight to Italy
Day 2: Oct 2, 2020 - Welcome to Rome, Italy! Upon arrival, proceed through customs and collect your luggage. A Jet Vacations professional guide will personally
greet you. Transfer by coach to Civitanova Marche. Time permitting depending on the flight schedule, we will make a stop along the way to stretch our legs with a nice
guided walk in Fermo, a beautiful city in the south of Marche Region, which stands today divided into two parts: the historical part, sitting on top of the Sabulo hill and
which remained almost intact over the centuries with its splendid medieval appearance, and a new part of town. Arrive in Civitanova Marche. Check in at our centrally
located Hotel. Time for a little rest before starting exploring the town. Tonight, enjoy a welcome diner with the other group members. Overnight at your hotel in

Day 3: Oct 3, 2020 - Ascoli Piceno & Offida: Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel. Then depart for Ascoli Piceno for a guided visit of the city center featuring roman churches,
beautiful squares, the 100 towers carved in travertine stone. Located in between the river Castellano and river Tronto, of Picen origins, the town was conquered by
the Romans in 268 BC. The most important sites we will visit are: Piazza del Popolo, Chiesa di San Francesco, a roman-gothic church with cloister, Pinacoteca Civica
with masterpieces from the XIV to XX century and Loggia dei Mercanti. Do not miss a coffee break in the historic Caffè Meletti where you can enjoy some local anisette,
(anise liqueur). Lunch at local restaurant. Then proceed to Offida, an ancient village enclosed by castle walls dating from the fifteenth century, which sits among the
most beautiful villages in Italy. Located on a rocky outcrop, between the valleys of the Tesino and the Tronto, it is known for the laborious and patient art of delicate
bobbin lace, an ancient tradition, to which a museum is dedicated. You can admire the remains of the fifteenth century fortress, site where a Monument to Merlettaie
stands. The production of bobbin lace is still very widespread and strolling through the historical center, you will discover ladies working with small wooden spindles.
The most important building of worship is located at the edge of the village, on a cliff with steep walls: it is the “Church of Santa Maria della Rocca”, an imposing
Romanesque-Gothic terracotta architecture, built in 1330 on a pre-existing Lombard church; inside you can admire the beautiful frescoes of the Master of Offida of the
fourteenth century. Return to the hotel in Recanati. Dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel in Civitanova. (B, L)
Day 4: Oct 4, 2020 - Recanati & Macerata: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then depart to Recanati, the birthplace of the famous poet Giacomo Leopardi and the tenor
Beniamino Gigli, to whom a small museum has been dedicated in the historical theatre “Persiani”. After a guided tour of the town center, reach Macerata. Enjoy lunch
followed by a guided visit of this beautiful city. See the Sferisterio, a gorgeous open-air theatre built for the game of the bracelet that can house more than 7,000
spectators, today famous for its annual lyrical season. Visit Piazza della Libertà and the magnificent Teatro Lauro Rossi. Continue your tour with a guided visit of the
magnificent eighteenth-century Palazzo Buonaccorsi which hosts the Ancient and Modern Art collections owned by the Municipality of Macerata, as well as the Carriage
Museum, whose splendor reaches its peak in the Gallery of Eneide. Evening at leisure. Dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel in Civitanova (B,L)
Day 5: Oct 5, 2020 - Moresco Ripatransone: Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel. Depart to Moresco. Among the most ancient and fascinating monuments of Moresco, the
heptagonal tower is certainly one of the most fascinating, and features a Ghibelline battlement of the twelfth century. It is 25 meters high and dominates the Aso Valley.
Over the years it has undergone several changes, and today, a modern staircase has been created, so it can be used to observe the surrounding landscape. The
Clock Tower, however, belongs to the fourteenth century and is located above the entrance door to the village. The historical center of Moresco has an ellipse shape
with a triangular square and very narrow streets where many 16 century churches can be visited during your leisure time. In the afternoon transfer to Ripatransone,
famous for the architectural structure of its buildings, for its nine museums and above all, for its curious alley, which is considered the narrowest one in Italy. After
visiting the village, transfer to Tenuta Cocci Grifoni for a guided visit of a vineyard and its cellar, followed by wine tasting and aperitifs. Overnight at your hotel in

Day 6: Oct 6, 2020 – Loreto, Sirolo & Pesaro: After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart for Loreto, a pilgrimage destination mostly popular with the Catholic
Religion: visit the Basilica Santa Casa, where you can spend some free time to explore on own. Later we reach the Sirolo area, a pretty little town which offer amazing
view of the Conero Riviera over the blue sea. In the afternoon arrival in Pesaro, check in and dinner. Overnight at your hotel in Pesaro (B,D)
Day 7: Oct 7, 2020 - Pesaro: Breakfast at the Hotel. Enjoy a guided tour of Pesaro, the hometown of the great composer Gioacchino Rossini, and full of artifacts and
places dedicated to the composer. Here, every year, the Rossini Opera Festival celebrates the talented artist. It's not a coincidence that Pesaro is one of the UNESCO's
heritage of Creative Cities for music. Enjoy a guided visit to Pesaro historical center. In your free time, we recommend visiting the “Musei Civici”, the Conservatory and
Museo casa Rossini (Rossini’s birth house). Evening at leisure. Dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel in Pesaro (B)
Day 8: Oct 8, 2020 - Urbino & Urbania: After breakfast at the hotel, meet up with your guide and depart to Urbino, a real treasure suspended on a hill, birthplace of
Rossini’s mother and moreover the walled city by Raffaello. Set out on a guided walking tour of the historical center, listed as a World Heritage monument at UNESCO,
and characterized by its streets called “piole” that run up and down the city, surrounded by architectural masterpieces. Your day begins at the historical center, with
the visit the Palazzo Ducale, and its “Galleria Nazionale delle Marche”, which houses one of the most important art collections of Italian Renaissance featuring wonderful
paintings of Raffaello, Piero della Francesca, with his famous Flagellation of Christ, Paolo Uccello, Tiziano and Melozzo da Forlì. Visit Casa Raffaello, the birth house
of the famous artist. After lunch in a typical restaurant serving traditional local products, set out to visit Urbania, a well-known village famous for ceramics and majolica
production. Participate in a guided visit of the most significant places of central town and visit a Pottery Lab to discover the process behind "Ceramiche Durantine".

Day 9: Oct 9, 2020 - Fano: After breakfast at the hotel, set out to visit Fano. Guided visit of its amazing city center featuring a Roman town where you can see actual
roman sites walking around the city such as the “Arco d’Augusto”. Fano is called also “City of luck” (Fanum Fortunae) from the Temple of Luck around which the city
was settled. Fano is still surrounded by the original roman walls. Then take a break and enjoy some coffee or the typical fishermen’s drink “Moretta” in the main square
“Piazza XX Settembre”. Transfer to local winery or farmhouse to enjoy a farewell lunch in the countryside. Dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel in Pesaro.

Day 10: Oct 10, 2020 – Transfer from Pesaro to Rome!
After breakfast, a Jet Vacations representative will personally greet you. Depart towards Rome by deluxe coach. Arrive in the afternoon and set out to discover the ancient and modern aspects of this cosmopolitan city. Romans say the “Rome wasn’t built in a day”, nor can Rome be seen in a day. One could live in the Eternal City for years and still not see everything. It’s hard to say what you’ll find most breathtaking: Etruscan tombs, Republican meeting rooms, imperial temples, early Christian churches, medieval bell towers, baroque basilicas or Renaissance palaces. Stop at a “trattoria” in Trastevere to try the local cuisine, sit outside a caffé on the elegant “Via Veneto”, shop in fashionable Via Condotti or again, for a wonderful selection of art, antiques and antiquities shops, visit Via Margutta. In the evening, enjoy some free time for dinner on your own. Overnight in Rome. (Breakfast - Dinner)

Day 11: Oct 11, 2020 -Rome - Vatican Museums & Imperial Rome: After breakfast at your hotel, depart for a guided of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Church. The Vatican Museums and their immense wealth of art, resulting from centuries of papal collections, offer an extraordinary experience. Amongst others, see the great masterpieces of Michelangelo, “The Last Judgment” in the Sistine Chapel. End the tour visiting St. Peter’s Basilica to admire the art treasures of the largest Roman Catholic Church in the world including Michelangelo’s Pietà. Enjoy a typical Roman lunch at a local Trattoria. Later, continue your guided tour to discover the splendor of the classic Roman Empire. Your experienced local guide will introduce you to the history of Imperial Rome, walking along Via dei Fori Imperiali. Visit the Roman Forum, the most important archaeological area in the city and once the center of the public life; and see the Colosseum, the most famous monument of ancient Rome and an impressive testament to her past greatness. Dinner at leisure and overnight in Rome. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 12: Oct 12, 2020 - Depart - Rome: After breakfast, depart by private motor coach to the Rome airport for your flight back to the US. (B)
